I see no discussions, not even memes about the world, characters or books anymore. It's like s8 was so bad it dropped off the face of the Earth. People still discuss shows like Breaking Bad which ended 7 years ago.

Yes. No one cares anymore. Even if GRRM wrote the next book I doubt many would bother to read it

Breaking bad has a successful prequel and got a sequel movie and you're talking about got right now.

I mean, let's be honest. The first 4 seasons were great. 5 sucked ass. 6 was decent again and seemed like it was trying to return to form, and then seasons 7 and 8 came out and were a rushed mess.
Only a little over half of the show was genuinely good, and it was the first half mostly. The last 4, most recent years of the show were hit or miss at best. People are gonna remember what they consumed most recently, and their most recent exposure to GoT was pretty underwhelming, and that's being generous. --- "She was like, 'Oh, did you see that firefighter? Hes so cute.' And I was like, Mom, I just got blown up." ... Copied to Clipboard!
