Went for another walk today, and there's literally people gathered in large groups on their front yards, playing corn hole, drinking beers, etc. Talked to a few of em at a distance, there's families who came from other areas just to hang out, kids visiting grandparents and playing with all the neighborhood kids.

These people do not give a flying fuck despite the fact that Louisiana has the fastest growing rate of new cases in the entire world.

Same shit here in Florida. My friends still meeting at each others houses and going on dates.

I havent been there in eight or nine years, but my friends and family down there have told me that New Orleans got hit pretty hard and that a lot of people are going straight to Baton Rouge (just like Katrina). This causes an influx there and disrupts the supply chain even further.

Glad I'm not near there. Sounds like those people are the ones that think "just the flu, no big deal". I hope some eventually wake up to the reality- being safe now will result in less issues later.
