I need one in my living room, which will be primarily for watching movies, sports, etc. So I want the image to be crisp and the native sound quality to be decent (I can't really install speakers in the apartment).

Then I will have one downstairs in what I will christen as my retro gaming room. I just bought a nice switch box and the RetroTINK 2x so I can play all of my retro systems (basically from NES through PS3) on the same TV. I know I need to look for one that has low input lag, but not sure at what point it would really be noticeable.

Not looking to break the bank here either. Times like these I don't want to use up all of my liquid funds!
