The anime was really popular in 2016 but I never watched it because I saw spoilers of it on Youtube where Korosensei dies so I thought I knew everything there was to see. Boy was I wrong. Overall the anime was phenomenal, theres a clear premise and objective on the first episode, despite the large cast each character gets a degree of attention to help world build and not just focus on the main character, the fight scenes were amazing, they focused intently on the kid's life as students despite being a shonen about assassination and the backstories and ending were heart wrenching.

Even though I went in thinking I knew what was going to happen I teared up on the second to last episode during the roll call and when they finally killed him. Even though there was a clear start and an even clearer end I want to see more. Aight review over, definitely one of my favorite if not favorite animes I've watched.

I meant the scene where they kill him. The premise of the show is to try to kill him but that doesn't mean they ultimately will. The spoiler ruined the show because welp we know they succeed so whats the point. I knew the ending so I thought I knew the show.

Its definitely up there for me, I wasn't expecting it to be soo good damn it really did. Also made it easy to relate to the characters as a high school student.
