I don't really like Animal Crossing.

I've only played the DS one but it was kinda boring.

I totally get *why* people like it but it just doesn't do it for me. Feels like an idle game or something. While I also dislike inauthentic goals and arbitrary number targets in games, I think I much prefer my games to have some sort of narrative or gameplay thrust beyond "uhhh do whatever, i guess"
