I figured why not. Seems like the world is ending. Australia was on fire for months, there's a swarm of locusts in Africa and SE Asia 3 times the size of NY City, and now we have this plague.

Put my kids to bed, my wife is watching Netflix, so now I'm sitting out in the barn getting shit done with 99 pineapples and Miller Lite.

I bought an acre and a half about 2 years ago out in the middle of nowhere. The plot isn't huge or anything, but it's only corn fields out here which is nice

Still sounds peaceful. I grew up in a rural area and had a neighbor in a similar situation with less property. Luckily none of the neighbors really cared if we roamed around on the adjacent properties.

Do you talk with the neighbors very often? I feel like in rural areas people mostly want to keep to themselves, or at least about half of my neighbors did. Maybe it was just the area.

Almost never. Our dog likes to roam, and honestly those were the only interactions I've had with our "neighbors"
