Just block him and ignore him and focus on doing you, not worry about what people might think of you. In the end if you lead by good example, all of this will roll off of you and you'll be happier when you start to see people positively respond to you. I'm not sure what you need to do to get to that point, and I don't mean this to upset you or hurt your feelings.
