No. As a drone pilot, I hate seeing shit like this. These people will just make it even harder to enter the hobby, as rules will just get tighter and tighter.

Why not? A global pandemic that has effectively shut down several major cities across the world is a pretty significant event. History is interesting and in a case like this we have crystal clear video of it. If we had that kind of stuff for other events pre-cameras I think a lot of people would find it interesting.

Not too long ago someone uploaded cleaned up, 4K footage of people in NY in the early 1900s. There was nothing significant about it, just that it was a snapshot of the past and people found it interesting. I remember a few years back someone posted these pictures of, I think it was Russia from the adolescence of photography and cameras. Cleaned up of course but everyone was pretty amazed and it still pops up here and there. In a historical context this stuff will be interesting. Of course its different for us since were living it and viewing it in a different scope.

Seemed like every time a bunch of cars started showing up they cut to another area. Wonder if they knew non popular areas and just went with those. These are fun and all but Id like to see some comparisons with those exact streets at exact days and times to see how much of a difference there is.

Fun fact, though, the Broadway in my home town is the same strip of road as The Broadway in Timesquare. On a slow day, it sees more traffic than in that video.

Videos being lame with loading, but I caught one comparison from a couple days ago compared to the summer of 2016.

Im very obviously sure that a good amount of people are staying home and its weird, but a lot of these videos make no sense and arent good comparisons at all. You go out at 5 am in March its gonna be different than the middle of the day in the summer.
