Shes actually not that hated.
But internet nerds would like her better if the character in her movie was better. Not relevant to the actress. Imo. --- A show of kindness may not do much help, but a show of cruelty may do much harm. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I never really understood the Brie Larson hate but the only reason why I didn't like Captain Marvel in the MCU because she was useless for the most part. Infinity Wars' ending played her up to be a lot more important than she actually ended up being.

Not sure, I had no idea who she was when I watched Cpt Marvel, and I was so bored after about 45 mins I gave up. I've never liked Jude Law so that didn't help, but it was a very boring film. I managed to get through Wonder Womans boring start but CM was another level of banal.
People didn't seem to mind Robert Downey JR being Iron Man, and he was pretty disliked beforehand due to his general bellendery, he's well loved now though so I don't think it's all down to Brie. With a better film I doubt anyone would have cared who played the part. ... Copied to Clipboard!

IDK if Brie mailed her performance in or if it was the script/directing, but she was very bland in her own movie. I think people would still dislike CM if she was played the same way by anyone else
