Vulture.

he was just this menacing dude, who didn't feel like a campy, comic book villain.

he was just trying to get shit done.

Doc Ock, easily.

Mysterio would be up there if his motivation wasnt so lame.

I didnt like the Vulture in the comics for being an old man. But I did like him in Homecoming.

Question about Doc...He was just a regular dude with mechanical arms right? How can he take a beating from Spider-Man and the like? Like I would think getting hit by a big bag of coins that hard would easily knock most people out :<

I believe the setup that hooked the arms into his nervous system also enhanced his body/ nervous system, particularly his reactions. Part of how the arms infected his brain.

and as far as Kingpin from Into the Spider-Verse was a decent villain, I preferred Doc Ock and Prowler from the same movie

I remember reading a novel, Revenge of the Sinister Six, I think? And in it that was a bit of a plot element. Ock basically had Spidey jumping and dodging until he was like, f*** this and straight up gut punched him

Doc Ock was done right, menacing, yet sometimes a bit funny but rarely.

Venom is my favorite villian from spiderman, but in the third movie he...didnt feel right at all

Tbh I thought about that after I made this topic.

Most of the villains are p obvious, but they downplayed Mysterio for like half the movie.

doc ock for the simple fact that vulture's action scenes were pretty bad.

vulture was par for the course as far as typical marvel villains go. it's pretty rare for a villain to be more scary out of costume than in but that's pretty much what keaton was.
