I mean really what's better?

Everything from 3 lane maps to large 10v10s to Battlefield-large maps with vehicles to Battle Royale. Guns feel super good. Balance is iffy but the many gamemodes allow most weapons to be viable. Best custo system.

imo 10/10 one of the top games this gen.

not even remotely. The nhl games have been shit since last gen. If anything, fifa is probably the best sports game, although I havent played one in a few years so Im just guessing.

Honestly I buy a new NHL game every 2 or three years. I just play the same one until the online dies because fuck paying 60 a year for roster updates and I generally only play 1v1 ranked instead of HUT. Unfortunately all the sports games have devolved in to the same basic thing.

This is true only if you are bad and/or whiney.

Camping really isn't that much of an issue, especially now that people know the maps. The maps were bigger so it took people time to get used to where to check, but now it's pretty understandable and some maps are really, really good. 3 lane bullshit is not a problem in this game, and if you want that, there are two maps that have that old-school CoD map style.

No, not entirely. There are still only three good maps in the entire game (Hackney Yard, Gun Runner, and Shoot House) while the other maps are either complete unorganized chaos only good for completing challenges (Shipment and Rust) or huge campy mazes that make camping far too easy to win and far too difficult to effectively counter. Even the "remakes" of Crash and Vacant are far more campy than they were back in CoD4 due to all of the doors that have been added and the way this game favors campers at a design level. Like I said, it's not as awful as it was before due to various balance changes, but the game still plays way too slow and campy for my liking. If they made a 24/7 playlist of just those three maps I mentioned above, then that's literally all I would play because those are the only maps where I feel like I can actually play normally and have fun with the game's multiplayer. I don't like slow-paced games of hide-and-seek and I don't like spawn-die-spawn-die loops, which all of the other maps fall into one of those two categories.

If it weren't for Warzone, I would probably have already uninstalled this game and gone back to CoD WW2 (AKA the best CoD game of this console gen) full-time since that game is ten times more fun than this one.

LOL No! It's still trash. So glad i didn't actually buy the game, not worth $60. It's still a campfest and most matches go at a snails pace due to campers.

- staying in one room'spot on the map while moving very little, usually pre-aiming at an entrance to that room/spot
- using claymores or proximity mines to block other entrances to that room/spot, usually with the Restock perk to replenish them
- constantly going back to that spot (or a different spot on the other side of the map if the spawns flip) after dying and getting set back up again
- ignoring objectives in objective-based modes (like tags in KC or flags in Domination) if they require leaving that spot

There's a difference between playing slowly/tactically and camping, and I see a lot more of the above than I do people actually moving around the map tactically. The fact that the vast majority of my TDM/KC games end by reaching the time limit rather than the score limit means the game is way too slow for my liking, and that's by design. The only CoD game slower than this one was Ghosts, and I despised that game too.

I once had a game of KC where I went an even 22-22 with 46 confirms, but my team still lost 63-61 at the time limit. One of my random teammates in that game went 52-6 with zero confirms because he camped his ass off and got the majority of his kills with killstreaks.

I completely disagree, WW2 was the most uninspired CoD I have ever played. Add on to that it was the dumbest **** at launch with it's stupid hud and extra b/s. I know they fixed it later but man that really killed it for me.

The problem is you want to play "normally" in MW but that's not what this CoD is. This is a reinvention of the games design. Shoot House is a call back to hold school maps, and sure it plays fast like old CoD...but the newer maps make better use of all the new tools available. The guns feel way, way different imo. Like it's part of the balance...AK is very powerful but is hard to aim. The "perk" system is better than any other CoD and seems far more balanced than other games and is especially balanced in the bigger maps. Maybe I have the luxury of usually playing in a party where strategy can take effect on the large maps. There just wasn't much room for that in WW2's small 3 lane maps.

WW2 at launch was bad, I don't disagree with that. But in its current state, after the overhaul updates and all the work Sledgehammer put into it, I think it's the best one since BO2.

The guns are very well-balanced, and both rushing and camping are equally viable play styles, with each one having plenty of ways to counter the other. But in MW2019, the game favors camping by design and wanting to play aggressively at all puts you at a massive disadvantage. Campers have so many more tools and rushers have fewer/weaker counters to them than ever before.
