That's what I loved about it, there was constantly new twists and turns. Four episodes in and all of a sudden they just casually drop that this dude that's been there the whole time is a cult leader.

I think the most interesting factoid was the fact that you could buy a tiger for 2-3k. That was like #5 on the WTF rankings out of all the craziness in that documentary. I know people who buy purebred dogs for 3-4k.

The whole thing was a roller coaster of crazy though, like a tsunami wave it just kept coming. The part that made me break out in a hyena yelp was the political ad and also when Joe said "Carole, if you climb that fence to hurt my animals, you can Got-dam-guarantee that I'ma put a cap in yo ass!! The first shot is to make you squirm, the second one is going right between your motherfuckin eyes". I was fucking screaming laughing lol

Just finished it. Had a ton of fun watching it. I hope damn near everyone else ends up in prison too. Only a few people seemed semi decent.

The one armed keeper and the dude with no legs. Also the guy with long hair who was like...a head keeper I think. Felt bad for him at the end because he legitimately felt like he was in it for the care of the tigers.

Also Joe Exotics campaign manager was decent. Really fucking sucked he had to see Travis's suicide firsthand. I legit thought the recording froze or something to capture his reaction but that 10-15 seconds of stillness was real time.

My other big take away is how so many people are that easy to lead. They are ALL horrible people. Joe is simply charismatic and was liked by employees cause he gave them a chance when others wouldnt. But first of all IT IS A HORRIBLE AND CRUEL business. He payed his employees crap (probably paid some with drugs as well) and the conditions of the zoo were very poor. Lioe having to result to buy walmarts expired meat to feed them.....also the fuck do you get to 227 tigers....and whats the point of keeping so many? Just for breeding?

Like others have said she was giggling a lot or blinking a lot when talking about him which are signs of lying. Her brother was a cop who helped give her the perfect alibi the night he disappeared. As soon as he did disappear she went straight for the will. She left the daughters just enough so they couldnt sue her. She also left them with too little to take action when she threatened to sue for them talking. Plus she also had the line about if you wanted a tiger to attack someone you would use salmon oil, not cologne. Its clearly something shes thought about.

I dont think she fed him to the tigers or anything. To me thats just what happens when a story gets sensationalized like this one did. However with that said I am curious if her meat grinder could fit a body in it, and Im also confused as to why no dna tests were done on it. Probably goes back to having a brother as a cop...
