No, the only person in the series who is correct is Eren. Everyone else is wrong and stupid. Eren's trying to kill the rest of the world to protect his loved ones because the rest of the world is trying to wipe them out. All of a sudden everyone else thinks that if they stop Eren the rest of the world will sing their praises and suddenly not want to kill them.

The author has managed to write himself into a hole so deep that it's now about two groups fighting over who should genocide the other and there's no other possible conclusion unless suddenly aliens show up or something.

Imagine if someone in Israel had the ability to, and decided to kill every single person (including Jewish people living in other countries) in the entire world outside of Israel because antisemitism is running rampent.

That's essentially what Eren is doing.

You forgot the part where in this scenario anyone in Israel has the potential to turn into a house sized human eating monster and that random children are born with city crushing powers. And there's absolutely no way to control it or predict who was going to get those powers.

Like, half the world wants Israel dead as is. Now make it so that any individual could walk into a city unnoticed, transform into a terrible monster and just flatten the city and probably get away without being caught. Then tell me that there is some future were people decide "nah it's cool, we'll just let them live in peace."

They are working on the season 4, but if you don't feel like waiting you want to start with chapter 85 or 86.

All of them are Mindless beings except for a very specific few with special powers. If you are a Mindless Titan and eat somebody that has those special powers, you take those powers and then become in control of it like Eren. If someone with their special powers dies before somebody can eat him, that power reincarnates randomly in a baby of eren's race. Oh, and once you get a special Titan power it then limits your lifespan to 13 years from the day you got that power.

The original titan, Ymir, died as a young adult and her soul was split into seven pieces which are special sentinent titans. They're not permanent but inherited by only those who can become titans which are all the people living in the walls (because there are others outside who can't). The only way to inherit one of the special seven titans is to transform into a regular titan and devour someone who carries one of the seven. That person is then reverted into a human and obtains the ability to transform like Eren who inherited his titan from his dad.

If you've finished season 2, you've seen this with Ymir (the tall, dark skinned one). She was transformed against her will into a mindless titan and ate one of Reiner and Bertroldt's friends which turned her back into a human who would use the power at will.

Aliens. Ymir fell into a tree that had some parasite monster attach itself to her and gave her the power to turn into the Founding Titan.

It's left intentionally vague. It's part magic, part genetics. Basically, a young girl of the "Eldian" bloodline ran into a forest and met some kind of alien...worm...thing which merged with her spine and gave her titan powers. When she died, her family literally cannibalized her under orders of their king and those 7 each got a unique power. Ever since that point, people who are descended from Ymir (the girl in the forest) have something in their DNA which makes it possible for them to become titans.

Yes. We don't know exactly what the parasite was but it might as well be an alien.

It's worth mentioning that the alien was at the root of a giant tree that the girl climbed into, which means the whole thing is also possible a vague reference to Norse mythology, specifically Yggdrasil the world tree and Nidhoggr, the serpent that gnaws at its roots.

Also, I'll be annoyed if Eren loses for any reason other than letting himself lose. He could instantly stop all his friends, has tons of meat shields to guard him, is probably pretty durable, and can see the future. A ragtag bunch should not be able to beat him.

Since this series is vaguely parallel to WW2 era earth, it's possible he literally gets nuked.

Hm, this story seems like one of those where the mystery is more intriguing when there's not explanation.

I still haven't watched Season 3 yet. I'll get around to it eventually. I'm not even sure what streaming platforms it's on though.

Possible I suppose given the ending audio released. Still, he can see the future so I'd find that lame.

There has to be some critical flaw to his future sight. Otherwise he's literally justified in taking the actions he is currently because he can see the results of his actions and has basically Dr. Strange'd himself into the best timeline.

I see, but I'm mostly wondering why the writer chose to make him so powerful. I suppose it makes him work well as a "power corrupts" sort of anithero/villain in the end? Ah well. I'll still watch the rest of the show.

So if he dies, with the powers disperse to seven again? Or will somebody be reincarnated with all of this power?

He has full control over the founding titan and was able to see the future as of the end of season 3.

He didn't have full control yet. He had to make physical contact with a royal to use more of the Founding's power. He didn't have its full power until Ymir chose him over Zeke in the paths dimension.
