if youre trying to trade flowers for flowers on a single island yeah, if only one side is giving flowers you can plant on someones island without shoveling so you dont need to be best friends

easiest way is a setup like this

etc.. for however many rows you want

where X is a flower and O is a blank space, and alternate colors on each row, there are guides for which colors of which flowers can breed, hybrids will appear in the empty spaces. also make sure to water
