Okay so where am I supposed to be throwing my bait here (this is the highest point on my island)? Anywhere in here or does it actually need to be in the short river part instead of the small "pond" part?

She just shows up and gives you the wand recipe, and her being there usually means you're having a meteor shower. If you wish on the stars you get star pieces on your beach the next day

It's not a guarantee, might just be unlucky. But I found during mine yesterday that it can go several minutes without any shooting stars then there will be like 5-10 quickly right after each other so just keep an eye out I guess

Question. I'm on day 2, I went off to another island to gather up some stuff and found a new character for my island. Should I buy another ticket for miles and do that again? Or should I save my miles at start? I've used them to get the tool wheel, bigger bags etc ofc.

Yeah you're going to want to recruit two more peeps. You get so many miles dude by just playing the game.

Yes, that is how you progress the plot. 3 characters recruited from those islands. They also let you farm extra iron for the store (hitting rocks with shovels)

You don't actually HAVE to recruit 3 from islands, it's just a way to control who your 3rd, 4th, and 5th villagers are. The "plot" will still progress you'll just get random villagers in the slots that you didn't specifically recruit someone for.

Also as soon as you plot out the next 3 houses you stop being able to meet villagers on islands until after your 6th villager joins so if you really want certain villagers do a bunch of islands before you put down the 3 houses

Ok nice, then I'll have bit more to do for today then. As I said this is my first AC game, and this pacing feels weird but I like it.

Still cannot catch a stringfish or sturgeon. Spent so much bait it's frustrating.

But I finally got rain and caught a colecanath. So that is nice. Just need those two March fishies so I can breathe fine.

And I'm debating on selling turnips at a 50 bell profit. If my price jumped up 4 times in a row, think it'll keep going up? Stalk market never crashes, right?!

Not much. Just have fun and chill. Shake trees in the front and wiht your net so you can easily catch wasps. Dig and bury the fruit your mom gives you on day 2, don't sell them like me ;D

One random tree on your island everyday (and on every nook mile Island) has a free price of furniture in it when you shake it. Not sure if it guaranteed to be a tree that's accessible based on the tools you've unlocked though.

5 trees everyday have wasps, they're worth 2500 bells and are easy to catch if you just have your net out while shaking and do it from the front

Also if you find a glowing spot on the ground, dig it up and bury 10,000 bells in it. It will grow into a tree with 30,000 bells on it in a couple days.

If you ever get your hands on a non-native fruit, bury it to make a tree so you can produce more of it on your own

Look up the correct way to hit rocks so that you get all 8 hits in and maximize your material gain from regular rocks/money gain from the money rock (1 random rock on your island will have money everyday, it's about 20k if you get all 8 hits)

If you eat a fruit and hit a rock you will destroy it and it will spawn in a new location the next day (1 per day). Eating a fruit also allows you to dig up trees and relocate them if you want.

Also donate 5 bugs/fish to Tom Nook ASAP. Then get 15 new fish/bugs ready to donate the next day

Flowers attract bugs, youll have seeds in your shop you can buy and plant, make sure to water them. Planting certain color combos next to eachother can spawn new rare colors which can attract rare bugs

The expanded inventory and tool ring you can buy with nook miles are must buys

I really hope they add some kind of connectivity to the pocket camp game. They keep making new themed furniture for the monthly events.
