It makes no sense. I've already had the virus, in was at home recovering for well over a week, I'm no longer contagious. I shouldn't have to follow this quarantine like everyone else I'm at no risk and not a risk to others

They don't know if you can catch it again, and can possibly infect others/get infected again.

Because it seems like you wont get any immunity and can thereby get it and spread it again.

If we can all just keep recatching it then we are doomed anyways

Cases of reinfection are kinda spotty. Most are attributing it to a number of other factors.

Most scientific folks seem to be saying that you develop an immunity after catching it (which makes sense, your body learned how to fight it already). That immunity may not last a lifetime, but for now at least.

As for infection, there does appear to be a period after you "recover" where you can still spread the virus.

If I've already had it and recovered I dont need a vaccine is my point

But you don't know if you are immune, or for how long

The relapse period is longer than expected. Give it some time.

Even if you recovered you can still spread it to others. At least call a doctor and as their opinion before doing anything reckless.

Have you been told youre no longer contagious? A week is generally too short of time.

Also, people seeing you walk outside might give the wrong impression. They'll likely assume you're like "fuck the rules", or might even do the same, thinking "oh he does it so it's probably ok if I do it too"
