Do you think Canada will Beat America in passing a Stimulus Package?


Justin Trudeau announced the 82 billion dollar stimulus package will be voted on Tuesday as the NDP signaled they WILL vote for it as well but wanted it done faster meaning even if the opposition opposes, it won't matter with the Liberals and NDP having the votes already..

The package has been praised by critics but said still more is needed later on but it is a good start.

But what about America? apparently they're at a standstill after Mitch the Vampire tried to pass his republican corporate friendly stimulus package that failed in the Senate Vote...

Do you think Canada will beat America in passing the stimulus package?

It's pretty guaranteed. Republicans don't want to help anyone, at least not without fucking over other people as well. If Democrats put our something, Mitch will leave it rotting on his desk like anything else that isn't tailor made by his party.

Australia has passed ours. People on government benefits get two $750 payments (6 months apart), in addition to an extra $550 per fortnight upon their existing benefits over that same time period.
