PSA
With the nasty COVID-19 going around, it's important for everyone to take extra precautions; not just for yourself, but for everyone! Something I've been experimenting with is adding another layer of protection to my meals. I've noticed food workers/grocery handlers wearing gloves to protect their hands from germs, and that's great! But I've been concerned with preventing my insides from this awful virus. So in addition to washing off all of my food, I've started putting my food in plastic sandwich baggies to protect myself from any germs that may be left on the food after said washing. Believe me, I'm very concerned with the effects this may have on the environment, but after seconds of thinking and testing, I've concluded this is the best way to protect our guts in these trying times. See the pictures below for a helpful visual aide. Let me know if you have any thoughts on additions or modifications to this idea for further prevention of the Corona. I just put peppers and a squeeze lemon on all my foods like how they do for ceviche. Such as the banana I have with me right now.
