Who is it actually for? If you have symptoms, then you either have it or probably the regular flu. Either way, there's nothing you can do except isolate and wait it out in both cases. If you don't have it.. you should be distancing yourself from others anyway. Also, you could contract it in the window between testing and your results. So then what happens? You go back for another test?

Wow it's as if testing for it doesn't really make a difference and we should all just quarantine ourselves as effectively as possible.

I will have to get tested on the 31st. Not looking forward to having a swab stuck into my brain basically. Think we have to do it on the airplane as well.

Why are you being tested? I'm returning back to China. I fled China to Thailand back on February 6th. Now we need to return due to work. Leave on the 31st. China tests all arrivals into the country. Some cities/provinces are doing mandatory 14 day quarantine in a hotel (which you have to pay for), rest of the country allows for home quarantine. We have a 3.5 year old child so that will pretty much guarantee home quarantine (people over 70, under 14, pregnant, etc can apply for home quarantine). --- How can one person post so much stupid s***? ... you get tested if you're working in a field where you cant just up and quit, everyone else is just wasting time right now.

Teacher. Need to get back to work (2.5 months off unpaid basically). And tbh at the moment it is probably better to be in China than Thailand.
