that the more we lock down and avoid social contact, the longer this will all last. I know it's necessary to prevent healthcare from being overwhelmed and limit the number of deaths. But it just sucks that knowing all our measures will only make this last longer and we may have to do this for several months to a year for it to be really effective. But if we stop too soon (which I think we will due to increasing economic/social pressure), we'll end up having a huge spike and overwhelming the healthcare system anyway. It just seems like a game of balancing # of deaths vs. economic damage, with us ultimately taking big hits in both of those areas.

Mike Pence says we're in day 6 of a 14 day lockdown, but we know that's just to calm the stock market so it doesn't fall another 2 thousand points on Monday.
