They're probably not testing as much or just not reporting it as frequently, but I could definitely believe its dropped off due to

Well China is definitely misreporting but the millions will die thing is not good evidence of that.

it's overall really difficult to tell a lot about what's going on there because of china's innate secrecy in reporting combined with anti-chinese sentiment filling the internet with conspiracy, but i completely believe cases falling off. the timeline fits with what we know about the virus and about china's response to it
