Allegedly the UK is going into lockdown on Friday and troops and police will ensure no one leaves their houses without good reason. Apparently they may also carry out deep cleansing of schools, public buildings and areas.

So far these are unsubstantiated rumours - supposedly people have seen soldiers out and about.

What is true is that Prime Minister Boris said the Army could be used to guard supermarkets and petrol stations etc.
