The shut down of Dine-in restaurants, night clubs, theaters, concerts and other gatherings are some of the common restrictions. Restaurants will be limited to take-out and delivery. Some areas will have curfew restrictions on who is allowed outside after certain times at night. Bans on gatherings of 50 people or more are also being implemented in many areas. -The EU proposed a temporary ban on non-essential travel to the European Union for 30 days to stop the spread of the virus. Other countries are or have also implemented travel bans. -Coronvirus vaccine trials are reported to begin today. Final products could still be a year or more out. -A third NBA player, Detroit Piston's, Christian Woods, was confirmed positive after coming in contact with the Utah Jazz player, Rudy Gobert, who was first confirmed positive. Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz, who also tested positive recently, is showing no symptoms at all. -The Georgia Primary was delayed from March 24 to May 19. -Miami-Dade mayor, Carlos Gimenez, said to assume as if everybody is already infected, which he said will aid everybody in taking it more seriously and taking more protective measures. -Nike closed all stores worldwide, along with others such as Starbucks with limited closures and Walmart decreasing regular store hours. -K-12 schools around the country were finally closed over the weekend for at least 2 weeks. -Governor of NY, Andrew Cuomo urged NYC's major, Bill de Blasio, to close schools, which he did a few hours later. Childcare and food assistance programs will be implemented for qualifying families. -Cases and deaths continue to rise in Italy, Iran and Spain. Spain's First Lady, Maria Begona Gomez Fernandez, tested positive for the virus. -Feds lowered interest rates close to almost zero to help with the economic downturn. The Feds will also be purchasing $500 billion in Treasury notes and $200 billion in mortgage-backed securities. -Utah senator Mitt Romney suggested that every adult in the US should immediately receive $1000 to help with the economic strain and crisis this is having on the American people as well as to stimulate spending. -Canada decided to close their borders to all non-citizens. According to them, U.S. citizens are exempt from the ban "for the moment". My stomach felt like it was on fire. I couldn't keep anything down without having to poop immediately. Had chills on and off and a fever for day or so. My wife got hit with it shortly there after. I did not drink or eat more for days, but i still had more in one run than i remember ever having, and this would be the third-fourth time for the day. dotsdfe 03/16/20 3:15:54 PM #41:	It's kind of jarring just how uncertain things are right now. Animal Crossing is out on Friday, and I kind of landed on just picking it up in store (I don't have Amazon prime, so my options are "pay 10 bucks for shipping or wait a week", and neither sounds super appealing), but it's like...what are things even going to look like by Friday? The situation changes rapidly day by day. My town currently has no confirmed cases, but a town twenty minutes from me, that's a massive hub of activity, has three, with a new case appearing basically every day. I strongly suspect that it's teetering on the cusp of a major outbreak, and once it hits there, it's going to hit here. I legitimately don't know that it's going to be super safe to go out by Friday, depending on how things play out. I could also see some kind of lockdown happening by then if the situation keeps worsening. It's just a bizarre feeling. Friday is just a few days away, but the world could look entirely different by then. I just want my AC. :( --- Winner of the Third Hacked User Contest.
