The US and much of the western world hasn't been quarantined in my lifetime. Do you forsee a push for paid leave, healthcare changes, etc?

Since people are taking this virus and their personal health so seriously, one would hope this would lead to a paradigm shift in individual care, dieting, exercise habits, etc.

But most likely, as soon as things start opening up again and businesses need to recoup losses, people will start flooding back to their old poor eating habits and obesity (the real epidemic in the US) rolls on and on. Instead of supplies, people will be filling their carts with marked down Doritos and Coca-Cola.

Good thing they have plenty of TP.

If there really is a mass quarantine I can see a mass push for a reduction of the Executive branch and its abilities. Make sure the President doesnt have the power to make Fascist decisions like lock healthy people in their own home without their consent.

I think people will claim they want things like healthcare reform or paid leave, but the ignorant masses will continue to vote republican so ultimately nothing will really change.

I'm sorry, but 10,000 of ANYTHING on a PS2 would absolutely destroy your framerate. It'd be like playing chess through the mail. ~johnboy1

Stop relying on china. Cut them out completely. Shift the outsourced work to south America, build that economy. That's the first step.

Office jobs may finally realize that there's no real need for everyone to physically be in the office from 8 to 5, and possibly even that all those meaningless meetings don't serve much purpose.

Also this will accelerate the trend of restaurants with no seating, and automation of as much as possible for McJobs that aren't cost effective once paid leave threatens to become mandatory. The future of fast food is one guy in the back reloading the burger robots every couple hours, then driving to the next location to do the same.

Or just, you know, southern America. Japan is doing that already.
