the tap doesnt stop cuz of a virus Exactly my point. A water filter is not a substitute for bottled water unless you have some other source of water. That being said, I dont think bottled water is a priority in this particular situation. You should have some in your emergency supplies though. ... Copied to Clipboard!

yes it is Okay. So you meant that youre getting a water filter in place of continuing to buy bottled water that you would normally buy. Your statement has nothing to do with emergency preparedness. it has everything to do with preparedness No. The only way that what youve been saying makes any sense is if you are a person who normally buys and consumes bottled water, but in light of everyone going out and buying it all youve decided to get a water filter instead of the bottled water you normally consume on a regular basis. In regards to emergency supplies, a water filter is not a substitute for bottled water unless you have a supply of water. Tap water doesnt count, because if that is operational you wouldnt need to use the bottled water anyway. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Bottled water is regulated by the FDA whereas city water is regulated by the EPA. The EPA, despite Flint, runs a tighter ship as far as safety regulations. Enjoy recalled bottled water folks that you may not have even known was recalled.

I have a life straw Thats good. I have some of those also. But thats in addition to a supply of bottled water. If you live next to a stream or a pond or something, a water filter could be sufficient on its own, but you might want something more significant than a single life straw. ... Copied to Clipboard!
