I don't mean home addresses, but like at least their county and maybe even relative neighborhood


So, like, think about it. I understanding hiding people for things like witness protection for risk of their safety.

But then it's a sickness, why not make it public? What are people going to do, get closer to the infected? Of course not. Making their general locations known would help protect the un-infected.

Anything that discourages people from seeking medical attention, such as this, would not be in societys best interest.

If people believe they will be put on some kind of a registry, like how we treat sex offenders, they will not come forward. Even if thats a bit of a hyperbolic idea, it only takes an exaggeration to make people paranoid.
