Dead Rising 4 is an exception at 50% positive. Dead Rising 3 still hits 70% positive though

Just an interesting little observation I've noticed during debates if a sequel is bad or not. Any other examples you guys notice?

This is probably a factor. In some cases people are more willing to take them as they are due to being redeemed by sequels.

afaik DMC had the highest MC score out of all those when it came out. Most of the only major criticisms was just superficial shit like emo Dante and that cringey af music video.

Everything else is indeed crap so idk Choco's theory makes sense

I like the game but the depth is a pretty big step down from the other games and doesn't this version have the color coded enemies?

I think the game itself is good but it's a poor Hitman game.

I think Absolution is more what Splinter Cell Conviction should have been funnily enough. Splinter Cell Conviction should have been an entirely new IP. Mark and Execute is a pretty cool idea that will sadly never be seen much again. Would be awesome for a John Wick game.

Yeah the combo system inspired from DMC3 was revamped for new players so you could switch out weapons on the fly corresponding to certain enemy color while still pulling off S ranks. If you don't know about the Definitive Edition, it tweaked the game further with the hardcore and remix difficulties, 60fps, plus classic Dante skins so that version's a legit 8/10 imo

I do know about it but as far as I know it's not on PC. So these reviews are based on the OG one.
