I prefer morning workouts but I'm pretty much forced to work out in the afternoons/evenings after work. Reason is because I have a home gym in a room next to the baby's room, so I cant make noise in the mornings. I also wake up at 5:30am every day.

My issue is I get restless sleep if I work out in the late afternoon/evenings...even if I take melatonin.

Did you guys eventually adjust?

It takes a while but you just have to find a way to fit it with your schedule.

On says where I work early like 6-3 or 10-7, I'll have to try not to eat anything all day, then go do my workout later and eat right after.

Days off or days where I work 3-12, I'll go in the morning on an empty stomach, workout, then eat. Or if I have no choice, workout after the 3-12 shift.

Morning workout are better but evening/night workout help me sleep so much and have crazy energy in the morning.

I do weighted pullups and weighted dips in my home gym, it doesn't make any noise. I kinda have the same problem, working out at 5AM

I get better workouts in later in the day but I like starting my day with a workout. Unfortunately, I usually get right to work after I wake up.
