Yeah strange the dog doesn't like to be brushed out, any dog I had growing up loved it. Both my cats now do also.

My guess would be something is just out of screen that he doesn't like but would be more obvious and less appealing to watch. I wrestle with my dog. And sometimes Id get a glass of water and just set ot next to me, cause it was entertaining to watch him contemplate how to go about it. If at any time I reached near it, he would back off and get noticably irritated. There are many objects I could substitute it with too. Dogs are really easy to get to act like this. Of course it's not so crazy that he might just hate the brush too. Before my dog barked at a box of cheerios for like 2 minutes straight
