When did I realize I was God? Well, I was praying and I suddenly realized I was talking to myself.

Since this topic is terrible but your cooking skills are good: How do I get the clove flavor into my oatmeal? It's not coming out strong enough, even if I crack them in half. Do I need to grind them down, boil them first, what?

Lol sorry I forgot. Not sure, I have never done that and I havent used cloves. But what I would do is infuse it with the water or liquid you use to make the oatmeal. Heat a dry pan first, crack the cloves, heat (not roast) the cloves in the pan for a short while, this usually brings up flavors from spices. Then add them to the liquid and let them sit at least few hours, best overnight. If that doesnt work Id try to boil the liquid with cloves to infuse the flavor it it.
