I run with a galaxy S8 in my pocket, it's not even a big phone by modern standards. It's 5.8 inches, there are phones that are actually pushing SEVEN inches now, and the smallest flagships you can get from major manufacturers today are like 6 to 6.3 inches at least.

Running with this thing in my pocket has it flopping around violently against my leg, coming out the bottom of the shorts, etc. I have to wear special running shorts with shallow pockets and a zipper to keep it from flailing around too much, or buy one of those armbands to hold the phone there. It's goddamn annoying and unwieldy.

I've actually had the thought that if I'm ever in like a mass shooting or something, I'm gonna look super suspicious running with my hand in my pocket trying to keep this giant phone from flying out

i have a note 9, the size has been getting on my nerves as well. it's a pain in the ass when i work out and any time i go out i have to do this annoying thing where i put the phone on the table when i go to sit down, i cant just leave it in my pocket all the time until i need it like i did with my old iphone 7. if someone made a good quality phone that was that size i'd buy it asap

yeah, big phones suck. Especially with loose pockets.

Mini mp3 players are the way to go. <$25 dollars. Some even have clips.

get a galaxy watch gear active 2 like i did. even without a sim/phone number attached, its great for exercizing since you can put music on it, use gps, etc.
