Like not a crush rejecting you, though sometimes that could cause it; but legit feeling like your heart is not there and it is just a hole or it is going to burst? And then, when you think you got over it, a little later it whaps you and knocks you off your feet again and you just want it to go away.

A few times but the worst heartbreak I've experienced wasn't from a breakup but losing a best friend to suicide or watching my niece die from leukemia when she was 5.
