Something people need to realize is that LGBT people exist in real life. Them being in a movie or TV show isnt sjw. Its reality. Back in the day you wouldnt see a gay person in a big role and if you did it was considered controversial or a big deal, unless the character was a joke and their sexuality was overplayed and made fun of. Now that its more accepted a character can be Gay, and just be a regular character. Their sexuality matters to the plot no more than a straight persons but there is no need to pretend like gay people dont exist when it comes to movies. The same can be said about minorities even before that. They were typecast into certain roles, but now they can be the star because...wow different races are a real thing that doesnt need to be hidden. The same is happening for trans people too, now. Why get so bent out of shape over it?
