I can't for the life of me get my Sony WH-H900N headphones working with my Windows 10 desktop. I can pair them but sound won't come out of them. They work flawlessly with my MacBook.

Anyone run into a similar issue?

Yeah just connect them and make sure they are the selected audio device
If your computer has speakers they might still be selected

Did you try clicking on the speaker icon in your notification tray and changing the playback device from there?

Yes to all of this. To elaborate on my setup, I have a desktop connected to my tv. I made sure the audio is set to my headphones instead of my tv. When I do, I get no sound from either headphones or tv.

This mostly happens with headsets for office environments but your headset might have some power saving setting (audio sensing) that switches off the headset until the PC produces audio and then the headset will power on after a short delay. Ive seen that audio sensing feature not work reliably and had to be switched to always-on

That's my setup as well, and I'm not having an issue.

Can you connect with any other Bluetooth device? Are all bluetooth-related services running?
