Haha, I have the PS3 limited Editions of 1.5 and 2.5 Remix as well as 1.5+2.5 on PS4. Picking up those copies is more about the collecting than the playing. I also have many PS2 collections on PS3 (Jak, Sly, Ico+Colossus, GoW1/2) but I'm still considering those. The benefit of these kinds of collections is that it drives down the price of the original PS2 games lol. So if you want the "song complete" version be sure to buy the solo PS2 version. Out of the set, they will look identical aside from the fact that the bar code on the set version is gone and replaced with "this is part of a set." Now, I'm not actually sure if every trilogy copy of San Andreas is missing songs, but I do know that some are. Of course, you can always play a downgraded Steam copy as well to get the songs back, I believe. I have remasters and ports of many PS2 games. For instance, I have the MGS Legacy Collection on PS3 but I also have MGS1-3 through the older collection. I can play FFX remastered but I bought FFX on PS2 the other day. Balancing a mech sim with a business sim was the coolest idea ever, and even the awful-ass control was a cool idea but point stands that it had awful-ass control. I get it. I really do. I am fairly familiar with the controls of construction machinery, and have been for a long time. And in that regard, it's brilliant. It feels authentic af to that kind of control. Considering they didn't bother to pay for a CD-ROM license for the PS4 to play PS1 games and they restarted the PS2 Classic program to charge people to play the same old games again I just don't see it happening. If the rumors of enhanced BC for older systems is true I think it's much safer to expect them to use that to do the same thing they did for PS2 games on the PS4. An excuse to re-release them digitally.
