Which is unfortunately Capcom's property, although they did get the rights to self-publish W101 so anything's possible, I guess.

Still the reference to the "Superhero Trilogy" makes VJ #1 with W101 being #2.

EDIT: Never mind. Totally spaced that there was a VJ2. Yeah, there's a hot chance of this being VJ3.

EDIT EDIT: Then again Kamiya didn't work on VJ2, sooooo... I'ummo?

I've been asking for a new VJ game forever, butis, despirdespiteit alluding to Viewtiful Joe twice, the only thing stopping me from believing is the art direction. This is a huge departure from VJ's style.

Yeah, unless this art style is just for the trailer and the actual game looks different, I don't see how it can be Viewtiful Joe. The artstyle is too huge a part of Joe's whole experience to be changed up too much (other than the obvious "make it prettier" thing) - it would be veering too far into the "gritty Bomberman" territory.

And yet... I really want more Viewtiful Joe, and that a-go-go has me hoping.

Also Platinum said before this teaser that it's a brand-new IP, but is a spiritual successor to Kamiya's "superhero trilogy" of sorts. I'm guessing it means Viewtiful Joe and Wonderful 101, so this one will have a similar vibe.
