Could you date her?

She's in every way what you expect the perfect girl to be from apperance to personality to career.

That is until one day when you're talking to her and then see a woman you recongize as one of the worlds leading and most dangerous assassins who has never failed an assighment starting to approach.

The perfect girl lights up and goes: "Oh that's my big sister! Probably checking up on me, she's so sweet. We're super close. She's always looking out for me, ever since we were kids. She's super busy, does freelance work all over the world you know? But still always makes time for me. Making sure I'm happy and safe. I love her so much."

You quickly realize the perfect girl doesn't know the true nature of her sister's activites.

Why would I recognize her as an assassin in the first place?

If i, some random nobody, can recognise an assassin just by looking at them, it's not a very good assassin

Johnny Depp is a bad actor if you recognize him?

That's a non sequitur, their skills are not based on your eyeballs

That's a bad analogy and you know it.
Actors are meant to be recognizeable, their whole career is based on it.

But if an assassin is famous enough to be recognizeable to random Joe Schmo, their potential effectiveness would plummet, as their victims would just act as soon as they see them, either by running away or fighting

Not necessarily.

She's never failed an assignment and you're making a lot of assumptions.

For starters , why does you recognizing her mean everyone else will? Her sister doesn't.

For two: Even If lots of people know her, the fact she is a known quantity is why she is so good. She can walk in the daylight with people knowing what she does and still no one can actually pin any of her work onto her.

I mean poisons, bombs, sniping, cutting wires don't require close proximity.

And If she can still get close proximity without being stopped or caught then all the better

What's more attractive to a client ? An assassin you know nothing about or an assassin who managed to kill 3 generals inside the Pentagon at 2PM on a sunny Friday without anyone knowing how she did it or being able to find any evidence that she had any involvement at all?

Only if the assassin was hired to kill you and you have to pretend to be someone else around her
