I think I may be classified as an incel and I occasionally have dark thoughts, but I don't want to be associated with that infamous group of people. I mean, I don't want to do anything bad (but mainly out of fear of punishment, I think.)

Usually incels label themselves that and blame women for their shortcomings. I wouldn't worry about being in that category.
My issue is just that I end up being friendly for too long and don't make my intentions known. Maybe it's fear of rejection, or just wanting companionship first.
