But for real, partway through Episode 2. If you're looking for a serious take on the era after WW2 where Nazis came to the US to work for the government this isn't it. It's almost Tarantino inspired without all the blood.

I definitely got an over-the-top vibe from the previews. Even if it is, I could still see myself enjoying it if the writing is well done, but Im initially skeptical of these over the top based on true events types of things because unless theyre handled masterfully (like Tarantino) they tend to come off as a bit masturbatory.

i am loving it so far as well. it doesnt take itself super seriously but is really fun and satisfying for what it is and pacino is fantastic as always
