I'm Gen X and I think boomers shit on millenials too much, and that millenials think of boomers as evil or awful while making pretty much the same shitty choices.

In the middle, X is no better.

I've always been led to believe that Gen X is the generation of apathy. They're drifters who have never had (or needed) a cause to stand up for or believe in.

Idk though, my bf is a Gen X'er. He's not lazy or uncaring by any means, but he's not exactly a go-getter, either. Hard worker for sure. I myself am a millennial raised by boomers and see the positives and negatives of both sides.

Though I would say, the Boomers and Millenials share certain traits which has turned out to make them perfect rivals. Not the least of which is a breathtaking level of self-centeredness.

I was pretty on board with Millenials, until the smartphone took over their world.
Watching Boomers on social media just as bad if not worse...but certainly more cringy.
I can at least give Millenials the benefit of the doubt for being handed a thoroughly fucked up world.
Having said that, they are really rising to the cause.
