I have never played FF6.

Music was so damn important to SNES games. They had to really use music to bring out the intensity of just looking at sprites walk around lol. FF6 pulled that off masterfully. 2 of my ringtones are from FF6

I definitely ditched him on the 1st playthrough. I never risked having to play areas again for an unknown chance at rewards.
