I am fairly confident that Bernie would get stomped by Trump, there is no way Bernie is going to convince a whole new swath of young voters to come out and vote in swing states. If anything he is going to drive a ton of moderates to either stay home or vote for the status quo (Trump) across the country except for coastal cities. I also agree with the moderate democrats in the party who are saying Bernie on the top of the ticket will cause a ton of representatives to lose to republicans in purple state elections, and the republicans will take the House back.
Unless Bloomberg can succeed in buying the election, I don't see anyone else getting the nom but Bernie. If there is a contested election and Bernie has the most delegates, but they end up giving the nomination to Biden or some crap I think that will be an even bigger mistake lol there would be a full on riot at the DNC. Trump's approval ratings aren't exactly conducive to re-election, and the Democrats' utter hatred of him is a pretty powerful motivator.
