Unwritten rule is that same party members don't run against the incumbent.the thing is, Trump isn't really republican. he just took over the party and corrupted it. he has never been loyal to any party. he is only loyal to himself and he uses whatever party will get him power. if winds had been blowing a different way, Trump would have run as a democrat ...
