On Android? I want to buy a phone just for pictures during a trip. I'm thinking about the s20 ultra but am worried about the post processing. I know pixed is amazing at photos but bad at pics.

Took my S10+ to Italy and appreciated the versatility of the wide, ultra wide and telephoto lenses. If you are concerned about post processing, then simply use the Pro mode to capture everything in RAW and edit later at your convenience (I saw a lot of people doing just that as we went on our tours). Night mode on all three lenses (in addition to the front camera) allowed me to take great night shots as well. You can also capture higher quality night shots using Pro mode by adjusting the ISO and exposure time. The video modes were also useful such as super steady that allowed for gimbal-like stability as we sat on boats to get clips of the beach and landscape.

It really felt like I had a bag of lenses with just my S10+. My recommendation would be to look for something similar that gives you the versatility of multiple lenses and the ability to edit in post if/when needed.

Galaxy for hardware. Pixel for software. I side loaded the pixel software onto my s10 to get the best of both worlds.

Most people wont really notice much difference beyond the low lighting functions of either one. I work in the photography business so I notice some things, but they're either not drastic or not what the average person cares about. A lot of it is preference. Samsung is less color accurate, but if you're just throwing shit up on social media, you'd probably prefer the more vivid image.

GCam app?
I found a link to the actual apk file a long while back. I just googled "how to install google camera on galaxy" or something to that effect. There might be a simpler way to do it through something in the app store now.
