You do realize how ridiculous this sounds when talking about someone who suffered psychological trauma from years of abuse right

Do you think a majority of bullying victims are going to go "yeah fuck her, she made her cash and I'm still poor and getting shit on so she doesn't have anything to complain about and can burn in hell"? You were almost certainly a cognizant, self-aware human being during the Friday backlash, and you probably saw the sheer amount of shit she got from everyone - TV, radio, celebrities lampooning her, youtubers ripping her to shreds with shitty parodies, internet randos dumping shit on her etc. That shit was massive - doesn't matter where you come from, that amount of hate for something as harmless as a shitty "make your own song" track is totally fucked up.

She had every fuckwit and his dog calling her the death of music, telling her to kill herself, like she represented the end of all culture. Similar backlash to Twilight, but on a much larger scale and infinitely more focused on the one person - something's shitty, so we better band together and defeat this cultural malady for the heinous impact it's having on the youth. Rich now or not, or even rich at the time and still rich now, she did not deserve the sheer amount of shit she got. If you're not hurting anyone by doing what you're doing, you don't deserve to go through shit like that. It's fucking horrendous.

I think most people who were severely bullied would agree with that, given that they were able to persevere and come out the other side with perspective and kindness rather than buckling to it and becoming a mouthy shithead who has to tear someone down to feel good about themselves.

Edit: Wow, her mom pays $4000 and makes her famous and when she gets bullied she just asks her mom to drop out and the mom says sure, and then you can work on your singing career.
