I went to the gas station for cigarettes. When I asked for them the lady behind me started rambling on about how bad those are for me, so to be snarky I said "Oh, I don't smoke them I just give them out to kids". Then the gas station employee said she couldn't sell them to me because I said that or she could get fired.
She said it didn't matter if I was joking it was store policy. I live in a small town and that gas station is the only store that sells cigarettes so I had to drive to the next town over. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Just like when you're in a head shop you can't blatantly say you're gonna use the pipe or bong for weed otherwise they won't sell to you. At least around where I live where recreational hasn't been legalized yet.
