Apparently Patrick Stewart and Brent Spiner were constantly pitching idea to the writers about their characters and the show in general. And she never really did. She would just say "Can't I do more?" they'd go "like what?" and she'd go "I dunno that's your job" And she says one her of regrets is not being like Brent Spiner and going up to the writers and being like "HEY Why not do an episode where I go meet the dude who made me!?" and the give the writers some inspiration.
