My ideal life is living in a tiny apartment and making art and video games and delicious home cooked meals
Partly due to medical stuff I have absolutely no energy after work for creative outlets. And on weekends I dont really get time to myself Should I try to get on disability and live my dream NEET life? --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

No, deadbeats, and leeches on society who contribute nothing need to be cut off from any kind of welfare.
Disabled people who got injured on the jobs, or military vets actually deserve to be care for by the government because they did contribute. We need to cut off lazy bums who are just wasting money that could be put to much better things. --- doa-plus.com - We Press Forward. . . By Pressing Back. ... Copied to Clipboard!

If you have an actual disability, then try for it. No you don't have to be in a wheelchair as a prerequisite.
NEET life is boring though. You need money to enjoy the finer things in life, hard to do if your parents aren't buying everything. --- This is a mobile account, forgive any errors. ~DYL~ 12-18-19: Donald Trump has been impeached. ... Copied to Clipboard!

What about people who were born with disabilities? I noticed you specifically only mentioned disabilities caused by work What kind of better things should we put that money towards? Can you elaborate on your medical stuff or your busy weekends?I have a neuromuscular condition that causes weak muscles, and I use a wheelchair outside of the house. Even though it's just a desk job, I guess the combined toll of commuting, working fulltime, basic stuff like showering and food prep basically just leaves me with no energy leftover. As for the weekend stuff I guess it's my only time to see my bf so I go over to his house >_> and I feel like itd be selfish to just sit alone for hours and draw by myself like i used to. If you have an actual disability, then try for it. No you don't have to be in a wheelchair as a prerequisite.Yeah, I could get disability as I have been diagnosed with Panic Disorder, Major Depression, and ADHD. My major concern is I'm almost certain it will make me more unhappy in the long-term without any work to do and less money. So I keep trudging out here day after day to earn a living. --- I presume my time here in my darkblack dragondark steel-obliterating solitude has come to its end as well. http://www.last.fm/user/Pogo92 ... I feel like i would be content with a small apartment, a computer, and enough for groceries. But I don't know if disability benefits alone can even support that lifestyle. --- ... Being born with a disability is not the problem, it is lazy people who can work or contribute something but choose not to because they just want free money.
Having a disability that is beyond your control is not being a deadbeat or a leech. If a person who is lazy is cut off from free money they are forced to work or atleast get off their lazy ass and do something productive. --- doa-plus.com - We Press Forward. . .
