I have many great memories of playing the original Sims but never checked out any of the sequels. Any tips or recommended actions?

ok no one answered ur thread im sorry. are u ready? im a massive sims geek
its one of my favourite franchises. im playing current gen and dont think i could do longplays with older games, but man, was sims 2 good. really good. it and the original have a lot of unique charm that sims 3 and especially 4 wished they had. (its funny i downloaded my first mod yesterday for sims 4, it replaces most of the sims 4 ost with the sims 2 ost. so nostalgic) the sims was the first, a true classic, but very limited. the sims 3 was too ambitious for its time. its too much of a buggy mess the sims 4 is a solid experience, but it took a lot of dlc and years to get half the content that earlier games got. it needed more time because it also had to take a few steps back to become this solid gameplay experience. the sims 2 looks very dated, graphics and content wise. but gameplay wise, it holds up to this day very well. do u just have the base game or do u have the complete collection? --- I'm feeling myself, I'm feeling myself, I'm feeling my feeling my' ... I haven't got a chance to mess around with it much yet, but it feels like it kept true to the spirit of the first game. I love being able to completely rotate the camera. yea sims 2 is definitely a sequel to 1. pretty much everything is the same but improved upon. 3 and 4 took a few slightly different approaches
each expansion really adds a lot of value to the game too in sims 2. --- I'm feeling myself, I'm feeling myself, I'm feeling my feeling my' ... Copied to Clipboard!
