He's the most entertaining character by far in ASOIAF. We love him because of his belligerence combined with his intelligence. But in person would that personality come off as graceful as it does in a fictional work? Would he come off more as obnoxious if you were to interact with him in person?

I feel like he'd be the kinda guy who'd be annoying to hang out with irl; always quipping, and feeling like he has to be the most clever person in the room.
